Linda Gallery will present solo exhibition by Indonesian emerging artists Lugas Syllabus, featuring paintings and large-scale sculptures. Lugas Syllabus focuses on  hypermedia and post-internet imagery through painting and sculpture. He uses icons from daily life, which are familiar and intimate to him, to create unique and idiosyncratic vernacular and archive of images. This will also be his first solo exhibition in China.

As an art institution based in Southeast Asia, Linda Gallery is willing to introduce distinctive form of Indonesian contemporary art. It will take the opportunity to open up a visual adventure wandering between contemporary and tradition, and blending industrial and popular culture and folklore.
